This happened during a very downer part of my life, one of my former best friends had just been diagnosed with a liver tumor the size of a golf ball. I wont go into detail about that, but I will talk about the morphine the docters gave him to take home when he returned from the surgeons.

He was givin a bottle of oval blue 60mg morphine. He had already been administered alot through IV, but was prescribed it in pill form as soon as he returned home. His mood when on it seemed very neutral and calm, as if he had already accepted his fate and he knew everything was just going to be okay.

He offered me one to start with, and having lots of expierence with percocet, vicodin, and even oxycontin, I was eager to try it. It took about 45 minutes to kick in, where the effects were simmiler to the strong narcotic pain killers such as oxy, but with its own twist. I rolled for a good six hours, and he offered me another before bed time. I took the second 60mg pill at about 9pm, and I had no idea what I was in store for. My body was overcome with numbness, which I had expected, but what I didnt expect was the ability to drift in and out of a lucid dream state as I pleased.

It wasnt like anything I had ever expierenced. It was a complete out of body expierence, and I had the spins times 1000 but with no bad side effects. When I closed my eyes it felt like my energy, soal, whatever you want to call it, floated up 100000000 miles up, and I could see our galaxy spinning at the spped of light. Nothing mattered when I was on the stuff, I mean nothing! Everything was just going to be okay, which is why it's addictive as heroin. I continued to indulge for another couple days afterwords, and the rebound sucked, but nothing too unmanigable. If it comes around it is nice to try, but not to get hooked on. I have know people who have thrown hundreds of thousands of dollars per year down the drain for this substance, and I can see why. Especially when a docter will write you a little slip of paper saying, here its legal for you to get high on heroin.
