Efexor is definately the best antidepressant I have been on. It worked well for me and for other people who have tried everything else and failed. It delivers everything that Prozac promised with less side effects. In fact, I went from a Marilyn Manson mood to the Care Bears after only three days after the first dose. In fact, being Efexor made me feel so well adjusted that I thought It was odd! Some of my friends did not take electroshocks because their shrinks prescribed Efexor as a last resource.

Although it is effective, some people claim that it delivers you a strong abstince. It didnīt happen to me. I just had nausea for two days when my treatment ended, and I did it for 8 months due to the sexual side effects of it - it really reduces my libido.
Of course, it is not a good idea to mix it with drugs and this is not a substance for recreational use. But then, from my experience and friends experiences, Paxyl (paroxetine) is a much more dangerous substance - has a nasty withdrawal syndrome.
