My first introduction to meth came a month or two after turning 17. At first it was a very enjoyable experience I had incredible energy and felt very euphoric. I felt like I was on top of the world no one could stop me. I instantly became a weekend user. I would not experience any negative effects and it still worked for me.. About two months later is when things started going bad. I started experiencing very negative come downs and started progressing way further in to my use. I would be using pretty much daily to satisfy cravings. I began to lose a massive amount of weight, and became very depressed. I started losing friends and transformed in to a very different person. I lived for meth and only that I didn't care about anything else except the next fix. I could no longer get high but I was always chasing it hoping the next time would be different. I started seeing shadow people and became very paranoid. It was normal for me to drop about 300-400 week on meth and put myself in dangerous situations to get it. I hit bottom within 6 months and asked for help which I later regretted. I entered rehab about a week later which I stayed for 60 + days. Currently through working the twelve steps I've managed to lose the obsession to use and have gained back all the weight I lost and about 20lbs more. I'm starting to feel better but I still am really depressed and my life is still fucked up.

I think meth is a great drug.. But its very easy to get addicted to, I never thought I would but I did, and there is no such thing as a recreational meth user.

Be careful, have fun.
