The first night we smoked a couple of joints of the Amanita, which gave a mellow type of high, nothing trippy or anything, and experimented with the Salvia. My husband took one hit and said he didn't feel much so I refilled the bowl and gave him another, I could see something was happening by the blank look on his face, and after a few minutes he said 'Hey where did everyrone go?'. Apparently he saw alot of people walking around and thought they were real. I did one hit next and I felt like my arms were being pulled by their sides, almost like the skin was being stretched. I found it really hard to talk but at one point I blurted out 'It's like being possessed'. Then I got this huge laughing fit, and couldn't stop. I laughed so hard my throat hurt afterwards. I found the Salvia kind of cool the first night and wanted to do it again the next day. My husband said he wasn't sure about it, it was too weird for him.
The next night we smoked more shrooms, and I told him I was gonna do it again, so I took one small hit and started to feel it coming on but not enough. So I went in the bedroom by myself and took another slightly larger hit and sat on the bed waiting to exhale. The next thing I knew I was lurching around my room trying to walk. I thought I was in the back of a concession stand at a beach. My legs felt like they had been sliced vertically in half so I only had stilt legs to walk on. They felt like they were submerged in some kind of thick liquid and I had a hard time pulling them out. There was also the presence of a female being, I can't explain it better than that. But she was the one that sliced my legs because they were food. It was really freaky and all I wanted to do was get out the door to where my husband was. I felt like I was in a dream but I was awake. I finally yanked the door open and went outside and sat down. I felt grateful to be back in reality although I still felt the effects of the Salvia for a few more minutes.
For the rest of the night I felt bothered by it and couldn't stop replaying those few moments over and over again. I really got a bad feeling about the Salvia that it's something not meant for humans. I've done Angel Dust and Mescaline many years ago, and felt trippy but I still felt part of this earth and I knew it was the drug that was making me feel that way. Salvia is very different, it really made me feel like I was in an alternate universe or something, definetly the most bizarre sensation I've ever encountered.
My curiousity has been filled and I won't be trying Salvia again. The shrooms on the other hand are quite nice and pose no threat so they can stay.
