Regarding the relationship between MDMA and innapropriate bond making AND its similarity to affective dependency: According to many reports (one of them is : http://erowid.org/experiences/exp.php?ID=2445) and to my experience, this seems to be the case for some people.

What happened in my case, is that after doing E [1 pill of blue dolphin, possibly MDE] with a new friend (girl) we both became in love. But the problem is, I became strongly affectively dependent of her, which wasn't her case, and she left me after a month.
