I've always loved pain pills, from hydrocodone to oxycodone to basically any narcotic. I never had a problem, up until about a month ago:

I had a few 20 mg generic oxycodone pills. I ate a good sized breakfast as always to avoid upsetting my stomach, took 1 pill (20 mg) and headed to school. Because these were extended release, I broke them in half before swallowing them. I had a really nice day at school, then 12 hours after I took the first pill, I was hanging with my girlfriend and we broke them in half and I took 2 more (40 mg. I got that amazing, warm, itchy opiate feel. All was well. I remember feeling like I hadn't taken enough, and debated taking a third pill to feel even better. I decided not to, and just chilled out with her. A couple hours later, I fell asleep, still high from the pills.

The next morning, very early, I woke up feeling dizzy before I even opened my eyes. I got out of ebd and stumbled to the bathroom to pee, and by the time I made it back to my bed, the nausea was really starting up from walking. I laid in bed, so miserably and uncomfortably, rocking back and forth trying to steady the ground. It felt like earth was spinning and that I had food poisoning. I felt like I was seriously dying and I threw up all over myself and my bed. The dizziness wouldnt leave. I laid helplessly, home alone, for 4 hours. I finally fell asleep, but woke up shortly after with the same pounding headache that felt like my head had been banged against the door nonstop. I couldn't believe my headache hadnt gone away after going back to sleep. I couldnt sleep off the dizziness or horrible headache, but the throwing up did stop around 11am (whole 'hangover' or whatever this was lasted from 8am to 7pm at night...was sick ALL day). The next day, I woke up perfectly fine. I'm not sure what happened. I swore I wouldnt take them again, but I can never say that about oxy. So since then I have slowed down my daily intake to 40-50 mg. That horrible time only happened once, but god, it was true hell.
