Why I Hate Kratom

Because of my new job I can't smoke MJ anymore, and so lately I've been looking into legal drugs.

During the last couple of weeks I've tried Kratom several times, and I don't like it at all.

The first three times I used a 10x Bali extract, dosing according to typical doses. I didn't notice any effect.

So after that, I bought another brand (krypton) that is said to be more potent. The recommended dosage for this product is 1 gram, but the first time I took it I took closer to 1.7 grams since the 10x extract had had such little effect.

After about an hour, I started feeling a morphine-like high, with itchy nose, relaxed body etc. However, it didn't take long before I started to perspire quite a lot and feel nauseous. After another 30 minutes or so, I had to go throw up, and then I spent the following 5 hours throwing up (or trying to) at regular intervals.

Today, a week later or so, I decided to use the last of my krypton, minus a little bit that I threw away in order to avoid getting sick again. So I used pretty much the recommended dosage, 1 or perhaps 1.1 grams. Despite this, I became nauseous again. Luckily, I haven't thrown up, and the nausea isn't as bad as last time. Still, it's not enjoyable in the least.
it's not enjoyable in the least.

While on kratom, I can't stand up, watch movies, listen to music, or do anything except lie passively on my couch and focus on my breathing, cuz anything else makes me feel sick. I just passively wait for the effects to wear off.

You could say that it's pretty much like morphine minus all the fun. (not that I'd recommend anyone to do morphine, at least not if they're prone to abuse like I am.)

7 hours after eating the kratom, and 12 hours after my previous meal, I was getting so hungry that I decided to have something to eat although I was still feeling a bit nauseous.

Big mistake, I didn't have more than three bites of chicken before throwing up.

Kratom is a shabby, pacifying drug that I will never ever use again. I don't know. Perhaps someone else can use this without feeling sick, but for me it seems that the thresholds between nonactive / active and overdose amounts is way too small. Is this a recreational drug or just poison?
