I did not know what would happen when I smoked salvia. At the time of writing, I am a couple of hours out of it. My friend, who I had bought some online with came in to my room earlier, busting me out of my music writing bubble, saying 'you should come take a trip out of this world.'
Our salvia had arrived.

About seven people present, four of us were on the path to trip. First it was the supplier. I was surprised to watch him exit any normal human state and start speaking gibberish.. attempt to stand up, sit on tables, throw his hands about trying to offer some message to us. Similar experience with the next two. Incoherent speech, change to an unrecognizable person. Eyes that said... 'I've exited, I'm somewhere else.'

Then mine came. After watching four friends completely change form, in interesting and uncomfortable ways, I was slightly apprehensive, but felt a sort of rightness that I have not felt before doing psychedelics before this. I thought while I was peeing 'am I just confidently drunk? Is this over confidence? No.' As best I remembered, I inhaled.

Next thing I know, I am in a yellow & black corridor. There is something that resembles Mickey Mouse at the helm of things, guiding the reality. There is smooth and beautiful hip hop instrumental music playing. It is part of everything, I am vibrating with it. The being at the end of the corridor is singing, kind of, just being the music. I am invited in. I am present there, I have no sense of my then external planet earth reality. After that meeting, I slowly drift back to the room I am in. It was beautiful, exciting, intriguing.... As I come back, I remember saying 'I was supposed to be there.' 'This is something I have been planning.' I remember first seeing the brown leather recliner I was sitting on, slowly drifting back to usual consciousness. Then slowly see my friends.. I remember where I am, what room, what house, what state. I could not get my mind off of how beautiful and enthralling it was. I felt, especially while I was leaving, that I needed to come back. It was a beautiful experience, I left my body and my reality more than I ever have before (maybe comparable to a strong and somewhat bad trip on DMT years ago) But I did not expect to actually leave my body, as my experiences on mushrooms, acid and DMT have on the most part been less disassociating.

So, now I will go back, probably. It was something beautiful and important. It's hard to rationalize back with my usual reality. Regardless utterly beautiful and immersing. Some of my friends freaked out a little, and had a bad time while they were there - but were not hurt, and were acting coherent and comfortable afterwords.
