It started out an average day of going to the movies and hanging out. I was 13 years old and in the 6th grade, i was popular, a good student, and had much common sence. My 15 year old best bud Mark and I went to see the new movie in the theaters. After the movie, Mark took me to one of his good friends house i didnt know.

I was unconfertable sitting in a strangers living room for over 20 minuets waiting for him to finish his buisness. Once he came out I met him, and got to know him. About 2 hours of hanging out he said he had 'something special' for us and left the room for less then 10 minuets. He returned with 2 bags of white powder, It was something i had never seen before. Mark told me it was the best drug called Cocaine and that it would get me higher than a kite. At the time i had only smoked weed for about 3 months and wasnt aware of any drug use going on with my friends. Mark and the guy snorted 2 huge lines, after sniffling and eye jerking, they passed it to me. I had intense resistance and had shivers in my whole body. After i asked about a million questions Mark cut me 2 lines, one for one nostil and one for the other. Mark handed me a straw and i held it to my nose. I knelt down slowly and kept the straw close to the table. I hesitated first and then snorted up the line as if my nose was running, and then the other. My nose was burning, but for only a couple minutes.

Mark was right, it was the best feeling and high i had ever had. I felt perfect. We were all so happy, energenic, and talkitive, we talked for hours. In those few hours the 2 bags were empty and I finished my last line. I was so sad to see it gone and immediately wanted more. I came down 2 hours later around 3 A.M. My friend went home so i started home. It seemed as if i got home in less than 5 minuets on a 30 minute walk.

I got home to a quite house and tried to rest myself. I finally fell asleep around 9 a.m. and woke to a sunny day around noonish. Once i woke up i was on the phone begging my friend to get some more cocaine. He agreed and we headed on our journey down the wrong road of life. During the next years i would always be high. Spending thousands of dollars a month i collected from stealing. I went through hell and back some nights that i couldnt sleep, eat, or even breath. My nose got crooked and my body hurt every moment. Still, I insisted that I needed more Coke.

I am 15 years old now, but I try and keep down usage to once a week. It was all i did, and all i thought about. And i can honostly say it fucked my life up royaly. I had no friends, I didnt think i could trust anyone besides my dealer. I now have mild brain damage but am regaining my health and weight.

Im just trying to get my messege across, My messege is that you must realize what your doing and fight your feind. It isnt a nice, happy, occasional hobby you can pick up. It's a nasty, horrible, life taking drug you should never get into. Believe me, I regret every moment that I hold one nostril shut, and snort the worst thing thats ever happened to me right up my nose.
