I've been very interested in psychedelics for quite a long while. DMT was one of the chemicals that particularly interested me. I finally quit being lazy and obtained some DMT through an extraction from Mimosa Tenuiflora Root Bark bought from an online vendor. After the extraction, I tried to smoke the DMT through a common pipe used for MJ but found it quite difficult. So I decided to mix the substance with some Salvia to make it easier to smoke and more intense.

I met up with one of my buddies, who was already quite stoned, and we set off to go try this out. I took a large pinch of 30x extract of Salvia (approx 1/8 gram)with an unknown amount of DMT mixed in and loaded it into the water pipe. I took a large hit out of this water pipe and within 20 seconds I was out. I would love to describe this experience in vivid detail, but I am afraid that I can barely remember what happened. My friend told me that I was screaming the whole time, and also that I would refuse to move because 'I was glued to the car seat'. There were no visual distortions, no euphoria, or nothing pleasing(that I can remember). The whole duration of this hell took about ~30 minutes according to my friend. All I can remember is that where I went, nobody should ever go. It was the worst experience of my life and I am incredibly glad that it is over. After I 'came back to reality' my friend told me that I had only smoked about 1/2 of a hit of the amount in the bong and that there was probably 3 to 4 hits left.

I'm not sure what I was thinking. I knew that was WAY too much Salvia and that mixed with DMT it was going to be a nightmare. I guess I was just so ready to experience this alternate reality that I went way out of my mind to try to get there. The setting didn't help either. Riding in the back seat of a car with a stoned driver, many cops around, weed in the car, and bong water spilling everywhere is not a good place to trip.

I'm not writing this to dissuade people from trying either of theses substances. I, personally, am going to lay off for awhile, but I am still interested in trying LSD or mushrooms in the future. I think that these are great, and when taken properly can produce effects that can change ones life.
