Nitrous, the Disco Ball

On the one occasion that I used nitrous, I was drinking beer (I had had maybe up to 3-4 beers), and I was smoking pot. I am not sure how much pot I had smoked at that point, but I was already fully stoned on pot before the nitrous happened. So I was already somewhat out of it. I am not sure how much nitrous I did, but it was in balloons. Maybe 2 balloons? Someone else was filling them.

Anyway, so I was sitting on the couch, and I did the one balloon, and I was waiting for my friend to do the next one. And there was a box that the whippets were in, I can't remember what it said, but I remember looking at the box, and being really confused... whatever word it said on the box, it was like I would look at the word and I couldn't understand why that word was on the box, and I couldn't understand why whippets were in that box. I was very confused about that and kept thinking about it for some reason. (I think he was talking while he was filling the balloons but I was weirdly obsessed with that box.) That was the very early stage.

The next stage, was when everything went black-and-white, and everything in the room started taking on a strobe light quality... or like how it would look if a black-and-white disco ball was spinning. if that makes any sense. Like stuff is in slo-mo and each movement is jerky. It made things look like they really weren't real. And at that point I was just looking at him going wtf??? And I kept saying 'This is fucked up.' And he was laughing. But it didn't last very long. Maybe 10-15 minutes?

Anyway, I could very much do without ever doing nitrous ever again. It is just not something I would care to repeat.
