It may be enjoyable and if not, I didn't waste much money.

I bought some catnip from a nearby pet supply store. It was supposed to be the most favored catnip according to the manufacturer and the lady working the counter said it was the same brand she used for her cats and asked me what food I feed mine. I muttered the name of a popular brand of pet food as I wasn't sure they made food for cats.

I don't know the exact quantity but I filled two slow-burning cigarette papers to their capacity. I proceeded to smoke the two joints. The smoke was irritating to the throat but not painfully harsh. The joint burned quite quickly and I was taking long hits. I felt no difference after the first joint and smoked the other one with the same (lack of) effect. The smoke does not smell like weed as some have suggested, it doesn't smell very similar to any other common substance, but it does smell a bit like tobacco.

I did both in about five minutes. I replicated the experiment today with the same results. Ten minutes after each experiment and I didn't feel anything.

I had hoped that I would experience a pleasant sensation from smoking catnip but I felt nothing. Maybe I would have had to smoke a large amount.
