Meth Overdose
The night started off with me drinking on the couch after work not really having anything planned. A buddy I hadn't heard from in a couple years gave me a call out of the blue a told me he had some amazing dope that would make Vladimir proud (his way of saying he was rushing) and that I should come over to party.
In the past we had IV'ed coke and occasionally meth when something good would come around but nothing compared to how pure the shit he had on this occasion two years later was.
I was already a bit drunk and decided that even though I hadn't IV'ed in ages I would go for it since the dope was something I probably wouldn't see again.
*NOTE: What I did in the following was foolish and half a result of me being drunk, and the other half wanting not to fuck up if I did it. I should ALWAYS know how much of a drug I are taking, ESPECIALLY if I IV it!*
My friend got out a clean rig and gave me a shot of probably .2g-.3g. The rush was beyond anything I had ever experienced in my life. For the next few hours we drank and hung out and had another shot of similar dose. Then a few hours later we had another which was a higher dose. It was on that third shot that I realized it was too much. I had entrusted my friend to dosing me when I should have known better. The rush was extreme and didn't stop. It was like my entire body was having an orgasm that wouldn't stop. I laid there on the bed rushing like mad, not being able to talk or move. They got a little worried and kept watch over me, but it wasn't until 4-6hours later that I was finally able to move around a bit more and converse. By then it was daylight again and we decided to head out to the woods and shoot my buddies air-rifle. At this point, I still felt wired as fuck and still out of it, but I thought it would be a good idea to get the juices flowing after the night of partying.
After we got back, we hung out for a bit drinking more beer. I decided that I should get home to get some food into me and some sleep as well. When I got back to my place is when the insanity began.
Hours after I had the last shot and got over the initial overdose, hallucinations started to come about. It began with ants crawling over everything. Steadily these grew into spiders, then tentacles coming through the shadows. At first I thought it was pretty cool cuz I enjoyed taking hallucinogens from time to time. But the intensity of the hallucinations kept growing and growing to the point where the walls in my apartment were vividly and violently shaking and breaking apart.
It is hard to describe just how realistic and intense these hallucinations were. In an attempt to give you an idea, when I trip on shrooms I see wiggly lines and vivid colors and sometimes a bit of auditory. If I concentrate though I can usually bring myself out of it for a moment before tripping again. Even though I hallucinate, I know it is just a minor distortion of reality. With the meth hallucinations though, there was no control, and the intensely realistic aspect of it made things get even worse.
I began to watch TV to take my mind off of it when I noticed activity outside. As I peeked through the blinds I noticed the parking lot was full of people in their cars doing something. Of course the paranoia sprang up and I started to speculate as to what was going on. This went on for a few hours of me looking through the windows and eventually coming to the conclusion that the drug task force in the area saw me at my friends place and thinks I am the distributor and are waiting to take me down.
I had the light off in my apartment and I kept on seeing patterned light showing up on my wall through the blinds. The light looked like a checkerboard of lines if you can imagine that. At first I couldnt make sense of it. Then I realized that it is probably possible for the police to bounce the light off of wall and whatever it reflects onto could be detectable by some sort of reverse photography. That way cops could look into apartments behind the blinds without anyone knowing.
This all was so believable to me that I even saw and heard a tape outside my window with the sounds of birds chirping that ended with 'Please flip over to side B.' Then I thought, Aha! I know for sure that there is a task force out there waiting for me so I should just give myself up to avoid a fight.
For about 15minutes or so I stood outside my apartment with my back to the parking lot and my hands behind my back. At one point my neighbor came out and asked me if I was ok, and I said 'I am just trying to figure out whats going on out here.'
After another hour or two of this eventually winding down a bit, I came to the realization most if not all of it was in my head. But let me tell you, still to this day I don't know what of that night was real or not and what all I did. There was a lot more to that night but all the details are all fuzzy. Another aspect of this whole experience was that it felt like a week had gone by when it was only the the two nights. I kept thinking, 'shit how am I going to explain all my days away from work.'
That was the craziest night of my life and I am just happy that I didn't die from it.
