Started Wellbutrin XR for Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD). If anti-depressants may weapon in many cases are a stimulant effect, this does the job but the side effects weren't worth it for me. I will not take SSRIs with the sexual side effects as my depression is mild and my sex drive/performance is more important to me. So that's why I gave Wellbutrin a try.

I found side effects were not quite as bad doing 2x200mg SR instead of 1x300 XR a day for some reason plus the generic SR is WAY cheaper than the name brand XR.

I just couldn't get over this drug having making my teeth/mouth feel weird and it made me feel anxiety more. Never taken an anti-depressant before but if this is all they are cracked up to be, I think someone is making a lot of money of drugs that don't work very well and/or have lots of side effects.

I switched to a combination of Vitamin D, Omega-3, and Lemon Balm supplements. Feel better and no side effects.

As a side note, I was also prescribed Focalin for moderate ADHD. I actually found the Focalin to have similar stimulant and anti-depressant effects as the Wellbutrin but with less pronounced side effects.
