Everything besides the Oxiracetam arrived in the mail a couple days ago, and I have using the above stack less the Oxiracetam without noticeable effect beyond mildly improved word recall and slightly reduced anxiety. The Oxiracetam arrived today, and boy what a difference.
I took the incomplete stack this morning, and popped in the Oxiracetam with a 300mg Alpha-GPC booster after a visit from the UPS man around 3PM. About an hour later, my older brother got home from work, and I went downstairs to greet him. After talking to him, we got into a disagreement over a computer/technical issue. He was mistaken about the specifics thereof, and I corrected him, not uncommon for us. What was different though, was the dynamic between us.
I am usually what one might describe as a beta male. I am passive, cerebral, and non-confrontational to a fault most of the time. This has caused me trouble in the interpersonal realm for much of my life, having never been terribly successful socially, and almost void of sexual experience. My brother on the other hand is classic alpha: direct, intense, unyielding, socially and sexually successful. Though we are very close, the dynamic of our relationship has always functioned accordingly. He has always been the leader, and I the follower.
During today's disagreement, however, the tables turned 180 degrees. I was focused, self-assured, witty, and domineering. So much so that he got a little defensive. After I proved my point, we dropped it, but the ensuing conversation had a very different feel than normal. Not only was I feeling sharper than normal, but I sensed more passivity from him than I've ever experienced before. I was steering the conversation. I was in the driver's seat. I had the power.
A bit later, I went out for a beer with a good friend. When we got to the bar, we sat down and talked for a bit before ordering, as we customarily do. Like me, my friend has a history of social anxiety and is of a more passive nature by default. Having seen applicable benefit from the nootropic regimen just an hour or so before, I brought it up in conversation to see if he had any interest in trying it. Upon my mention of it, he says 'so THAT'S what's different,' and proceeds to tell me that I seemed more talkative and out of my head than usual.
After one beer, we decided we'd head to the mall across the way, and walk around a little bit. After stopping in the food court for a bite, we hit some of the shops. Emboldened by the nootropics, I decide to engage some of the cuter female shop staff in conversation. I am verbally sharper, more relaxed and collected than when I normally talk to women. I am also more keenly aware of their body language, being almost certain of which ones are or aren't interested. I have studied some of the more popular pick-up/seduction literature, and tried to employ it without much success, but in my interaction with these women today I start to grasp some of the concepts espoused at a more intuitive level.
After a couple hours of ratting around the mall, I notice mild fatigue setting in, and a light fogging of the mind akin to a small puff of weed. I can instantly tell that the ride is over.
The time period from ingestion of the Oxiracetam through the fogging-over was a bit under 5 hours. I suspect more choline would have extended the experience slightly.
The experience precipitated effects I had not anticipated, but in my situation were a pleasant surprise. What I was after was boosted memory and cognition. What I got was an extra couple inches on my metaphorical dick.
I caution anyone with an already strong personality or a history of bipolar disorder against taking this drug, as my behavior was mimicking some aspects of hypomania. I believe this could trigger a full-blown manic episode in someone prone to such behavior.
