Although many research chems are available online, I had never cared so much as to order some. However, one of my connections offered me some MXE for $10 a tenth and I couldn't resist, and bought two tenths. My friend 'A' bought mushrooms instead, and we traveled to my friend L's house. I had taken a few bumps off my finger during the drive. When we arrived, I snorted most of my first tenth and told myself I would take no more. About 30 minutes had passed and I was having a good, pleasant time talking to everyone and enjoyed a couple beers. I knew I wasn't too messed up to take a bit more and snorted the rest of my tenth.
After about 15 minutes of finishing the tenth I felt my body slowly ease into the chair I was sitting in and felt very comfortable. My vision slowly shifted backwards, as if I was able to observe the room from a fuller perspective.

After an hour and a half of finishing my tenth I felt a slight dissipation of the effects and quickly re-dosed with what I would estimate to be around 10 mg. I consumed another beer and smoked a bowl with a few friends. After smoking, I felt much more relaxed and it seemed to renew my peak for a few minutes. My vision was very distorted at this point but no major hallucinations. I could not really see anything clearly as it seemed my eyes were moving back and forth rapidly. However, my speech became more coherent and I was able to hold a conversation once again.
Throughout the rest of the night, things became less confusing and I was able to reflect and enjoy what had happened. My memory was slightly cloudy, and the next day I learned about more of the silly things I had been doing under the influence. I was very surprised at how well I did handle myself considering how high of a dose I had taken with no tolerance.
Overall, I think MXE is a fun drug but not something I would want to do often. It is entertaining and pleasant in low doses but as I increase the dosage, things become increasingly difficult to understand. As a social drug, it would not be good for me unless used in a group of people you are very comfortable with. My only PCP experience shared many of the qualities my MXE experience did. I have done MXE a couple times since and both times were enjoyable.
