CONOCYBE FILARIS - POISONOUS
CAP : Yellow to orange rust, conical to campanulate striate
GILLS : Adnate, rusty orange, white fringed
STEM : Slender, brittle, with white yellow ring
HABITAT : Lawns and bark mulch
SEASON : September through December
DOSAGE : DO NOT EAT. DEADLY POISONOUS.
COMMENT: May resemble P. stuntzii or P. cyanescens. Contains cyclopeptidic toxins similar to those found in the deadly Amanitas.
